Very much a case of 'after the Lord Mayor's show' today with a pretty miserable set of fixtures for Monday. Still, a couple of possibilities have presented themselves so we can hopefully start off the week on a winning note. Our main bet today is the Lady Herries runner #1 Jo'burg (NAP) in the 5.15 at Folkestone. Hardly a prolific animal but the best on show here according to the ratings and provided his run at Goodwood on Friday hasn't taken too much out of the tank then Jamie Spencer can expect to go mighty close on this 5yo today. Time Machine (4.45) is also of interest on the same card but the afternoon's other meeting, at Newton Abbot, is pretty lifeless - Foolish Myth (4.00) being only of minor appeal. Tonight's action is little better. Bounty Box (8.00) and Midnight Fantasy (9.00) are the best of the bunch at Windsor and Shibhan might be just a scrap of e/w value in the Pontefract 6.50.
