The Winning Line Daily Bulletin: 30 July 08

Infallible put in an uncharacteristic effort yesterday at Goodwood, clearly not her true running, but Jargelle ran a great race and she wasn't without a chance of the win before eventually settling for the e/w 3rd place, backed in from 11/1 > 7/1.

Interesting day for us today. News from all five tracks and a day where we've received several decent messages - the results will determine how good it is!

Two runners from Michael Jarvis to mention first up. In the Leicester 8.15 he runs #9 Kammaan. This 2yo debutant may well play second fiddle to Eyes Like A Hawk in the betting but we're told that bright things are expected of this filly. Watch out for any significant market moves.

Also, in the 8.30 at Kempton he runs Rose Street. Back after a 274 day lay off this is Philip Robinson's only ride of the meeting... again, watch the market as this one has been noted.

Just one race to get involved with at Goodwood this afternoon. We've had messages for both #7 Ghaidaa and #13 Lee Miller (which we were on last time when she won at Pontefract) in the 4.40. 3yo's have won this race in 7 of the last 10 years and both these lightly raced sorts have the scope to improve.

Our advice is for the Jarvis horse (another one!) so have a look at Ghaidaa each-way at 6/1 and forgive her that disappointing Newcastle run last time out.

Redcar this afternoon sees #2 Little Jimbob (NAP) in the 5.05. We were with this one the time before last when the Richard Fahey 7yo won at Hamilton. Tougher race here but still the one to beat.

Finally, at Perth, just a quiet word for Buachaill On Eirne in the 5.25. Gordon Elliott's hurdler has solid claims in the meeting's 'Get Out' Stakes with Kilcannon Supreme the main danger.

That's the news for Wednesday, we'll be back with you usual time on Thursday.
