"Starting off in sports journalism, with the BBC, back in the early 1990's I've been involved with this industry for my whole working life.

During the past 20 years that has led to all manner of work ... journalism, TV and radio broadcasting, podcasts and writing numerous books, articles and features on betting-related topics.

Add to this the design, development and content of numerous sporting websites plus working associations with betting publications (Betting School), TV stations (Sportsxchange, The Betting Channel) and the exchanges (Betfair) ... they've all played their part in bringing me to the position I am today.

Meeting People 'In The Know'

This experience has brought me into contact with all sorts of industry faces. People who make a living, and a very good living at that, from betting. Some of the 'deadliest' people in the business in fact ... whose names I dare not mention but who will be well-known to many. From these people I learned the secrets to making money from betting.

That education, as that's what it has been, started with my work for The Winning Line in early 1993. At the time the service was a fast-growing betting syndicate, one which grew within the coming years to be by far the biggest in the UK. It attracted a loyal membership, had a huge influence on the betting markets and achieved a legendary record of success - something which most operations can only dream about.

Working with The Winning Line was one thing, a start, but my desire was always to work with more services, to increase my involvement in all areas of the industry and find exactly where the profits are to be made and, trust me, there's an awful lot of places if you know where to look!

Moving on therefore ... Goldcall, founded in the mid-90's, provided such a platform. A company which set out to work with tipsters, content providers and all manner of professional gambling advisors with a view to bringing honest, genuine and profitable services to the marketplace.

And the aim was simple ... to make previously unknown betting information more widely available and to enable people, just like you, to share in this success and to make money. That's what Goldcall is all about.
