Hexham Racecourse

Hexham Racecourse is a National Hunt Course perched above the historic town of Hexham. It is within easy driving distance of Newcastle, Carlisle, Edinburgh and Darlington and there is a free bus service from Hexham Station on racedays. Hexham's meetings take place in Spring, early Summer and the Autumn. These include weekend and Bank Holiday fixtures as well as popular evening meetings.

Hexham Racecourse takes full advantage of a natural amphitheatre of sloping grass below the stands to provide superb viewing of horse racing as well as the magnificent surrounding countryside.
