It's time to tee-off and make yourself a tidy profit
They call it the ‘silly season’.
A time of the year when all the big winners for 2011 have long since been decided.
We’ve seen all four majors won... US Masters (Charl Schwartzel), US Open (Rory McIlroy), the Open Championship (Darren Clarke) and USPGA (Keegan Bradley).
 |
| Luke Donald has replaced Lee Westwood and Martin Kaymer as the world No.1 |
We’ve seen world number 1’s come and go (Lee Westwood & Martin Kaymer) to be replaced by a new man atop the rankings (Luke Donald). We’ve even seen a former No.1’s return (
Tiger Woods) with mixed results.
No Ryder Cup this year but a Presidents Cup, plus a World Cup and a Fedex Cup champion (Bill Haas) who pocketed over $10m.
And so after all these big, prestigious, high-profile events as we approach the end of 2011, the view of many punters is that the season’s over, the money’s all be won and the golf being played is a ‘fairway short of a golf course’.
Well, think again.
It might be the ‘silly season’ to some but there’s nothing remotely silly about backing golf winners… and there’s plenty of opportunities to do just that before the year is out.
Plenty more winning still to do...
There’s the Alfred Dunhill Championship (Dec 09-12) along with the South African Open (Dec 16-19).

| $5m event starts December 1st |
What about the
Nedbank Challenge (Donald, Kaymer, McDowell, Westwood and Schwartzel).
This is a $5m tournament, an elite 12-man invitational event played at the Gary Player Country Club, Sun City in South Africa.
On the USPGA Tour we find the Qualifying Tournament for the 2012 season (known as Q-School) and that's followed by the Franklin Templeton Shootout (Dec 09-11).
There’s also the Chevron World Challenge. Another event played out for a cool $5m purse which, hosted by Tiger Woods no less, attracts some of the biggest names in golf.
Woods will be there plus Webb Simpson, Jason Day, Rickie Fowler, Nick Watney… a whole host of top US and world golfing talent.
Plenty more cash still to pocket!
That’s right... don’t think for a moment that your chance to win money on golf betting has been and gone.

| McDowell was a 18/1 winner in last year's Chevron Challenge |
"We landed a great gamble on Graeme McDowell last year in the Chevron event. Very nice price too at 18’s for the Ulsterman to come out on top” stated Elliott.
“We’ve still got events all around the globe. Not just the States but the Far East, South Africa, Australia… and it’s often a time when the bookies take their eye off the ball, thinking the year is over. Not a bit of it!”
That’s why you need to get involved with Keith’s professional golf betting service. You’ll receive expert golf tips. Tips that make you money.
Can’t guarantee you’ll pick up $5m… but backing a nice winner will make you feel like you just have!
