Elliott Converts With 100% Winners In Six Nations Rugby Union

Aside from backing winners in the football, rugby league, cricket and, of course, the golf ... members of Elliott's Premier Sports Betting were counting their winnings on another sport at the weekend. This time, rugby union.

Prior to this year's Six Nations rugby, Keith gave just two bets on the tournament. This is what he advised:

Bet 1: No Grand Slam Winner

1. France have tough away games in Ireland and England and have little time together before the internationals for their ever-changing team to gel.
2. England have three key forwards missing in Lewis Moody, Courtney Lawes and Tom Croft and are still very much a work in progress under Martin Johnson.
3. Ireland have a dodgy scrum and injuries to back row forwards Stephen Ferris, James Heaslip and winger Tommy Bowe will severely dent their hopes.
4. Scotland although improving, cannot be expected to win away in both France and England.
In a very tricky year this looks a safe bet with a huge 66.66% return should no side win all five matches ... which looks highly likely!

Bet 2: England To Win The Six Nations

1. England have three home games including the crucial game against second favourites and current champions France.
2. Although without three key forwards Lewis Moody, Tom Croft and Courtney Lawes, England are an improving side and reached a world ranking 4th after they beat Australia 35-18.
3. England can get off to a good start at Cardiff against a Welsh side, who have lost their last 7 games, and will gain a great deal of confidence from that to carry them through the rest of the event.
4. A tough final match against Ireland is a concern but England could have wrapped up the tournament by the time they visit Dublin.
The Six Nations looks very open this year but England are the best bet in the win market and are a solid odds-against chance to lift the title.
